It is close to a main hyway, but off the beating path. There is excellent hunting and fishing. It is situated 10 miles east of Breezewood and about 8 miles west of McConnellsburg. It is about 10-30 minutes from Buchanan State Forest, Meadow Grounds Lake, Cowens Gap and Buchanan’s Birthplace State Parks, and State Game Land. It is about 40 miles to Raystown Lake.
It is about 8 miles from a medical center and a grocery store.
